Who we are
Senyum Dental Clinic is a dental practice at 12, Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, 30000 Ipoh, Perak. We are the data user responsible for the personal data described in this notice.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address
- Clinical records: your dental history, treatment notes, X-rays and images
- Appointment and billing records
- Anything you write in a message or enquiry form on this website
Why we use it
We use your data to provide dental treatment, to keep accurate clinical records as required of a registered practice, to contact you about appointments, and to take payment. We may send you a reminder before a scheduled visit. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share your data only where it is necessary: with a specialist or laboratory involved in your treatment, with your insurer or panel administrator where you have asked us to claim, and with regulators or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for the period required of dental practices in Malaysia, and for longer where a child was treated. Enquiry messages that do not lead to treatment are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and limit how we use it for non-clinical purposes such as reminders. Write to us at hello@senyumdental.my and we will respond within 21 days.
Cookies and this website
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the contact page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap; both providers will see your IP address as part of serving those files.
